Who We Are

Who We Are

As a charity, our passion is to help families and their dependents made vulnerable through facing or fleeing domestic abuse and those marginalized by poverty and unemployment.  With a dedicated team, we provide a spirit of care, a place of safety, hope and healing with a practical approach to assisting and empowering our clients.

Whatever their situation, volunteers, clients and members of the local community know that we create a safe space where people can tell their stories, share their lives and make new connections.  Please see the Get Involved page or Donate page for ways to support or help us to continue and expand our work in the exciting ways we are currently envisaging.  If you would like to talk to someone about your own situation please use the Contact page.

We run a charity shop, van and cafe which are all staffed by our volunteers, introducing them to new skills, experience and helping them grow in confidence or volunteers using their skills to help us. We also provide training and some basic courses which often develop into nationally recognised qualifications through the training links we have.
